Can I reserve a parking space?

No, you cannot reserve a specific parking space in any of our multi-storey car parks.

 

Are the car parks open at night?

The opening hours of our car parks vary. Please check the opening hours of the particular car park. As a long-term renter, you can access the car park at any time – day or night.

 

What should I do if I’m alone at the exit barrier late at night and the ticket doesn’t work?

All of our car parks have an intercom system that enables you to contact our Service Desk staff, who will then assist you.

 

What should I do if I can’t drive out of the car park due to a technical fault?

All of our car parks have an intercom system that enables you to contact our Service Desk staff. If they can’t solve the problem, our technical team will deal with it without delay during and outside of business hours. Outside of business hours, our on-call service team will arrive within 30 minutes if traffic conditions allow.


What should I do if I lose my ticket?

All of our car parks have an intercom system at the pay machines that enables you to contact our Service Desk staff, who will then assist you.


Who is liable for damage caused to my vehicle in the car park?

See section 4 of our GTC.

 

How can I pay for parking at the car parks?

You can pay by Maestro, Postcard, credit card, Twint or cash (CHF/EUR).

 

 

How often are the parking guidance displays in Zurich updated?

The parking guidance displays around the city of Zurich are updated every 60 seconds. In our car parks, which have an additional internal parking guidance system, the displays are updated in real time.


I’d like to have my car interior and exterior cleaned when I come to park. Where do you offer this service?

The Utoquai car park has a car wash facility that is staffed during car park opening hours. You can have your car interior cleaned, and there are various exterior cleaning options. You get one hour of free parking if you use the car wash service.

 

I need a rental or car-sharing vehicle. Where can I rent a vehicle at the car park?

Europcar has a wide range of vehicles available at the following car parks: 

-          Neuhard, Olten

-          Diana, Schaffhausen

-          Messe Zürich, Oerlikon

-          AMAG Parking, Cham

After registering, you can use the Ubeeqo car-sharing service at the following car parks:

-          Rathaus Parking (City Hall), Bern

-          Bleicherweg, Zurich

-          Utoquai, Zurich

 

Parkingpay: Can I pay without having to go to the pay machines?

Cashless payment is possible at the following car parks if you have the Parkingpay app or badge:

-          Utoquai

-          Opéra

-          Bleicherweg

-          Talgarten

-          Rathaus Parking (City Hall)


1. Download the app and register with Parkingpay.
2. Load enough credit (at least the daily rate) onto your account.
3. Hold up your app, card or badge at the barrier when you enter and leave the car park.
4. The parking fee will be debited from your Parkingpay account. 

 

How much does it cost to park?

Our rates vary from car park to car park. We also offer hourly rates, multi-day tickets and prepaid cards, not to mention spaces for long-term rental with or without EV charging.


Can I buy parking vouchers from you?

Yes, you can order prepaid cards and vouchers from us. If you need tickets for a private event for your customers and/or employees, please contact us for more information. You can reach us by email at parking@amag.ch or by phone on 044 804 40 35.


Are there discounts for frequent parkers?

If you need to park in a certain car park frequently, we recommend renting a parking space by purchasing an individual monthly season ticket or ordering a prepaid card from us.

 

Are there discounts for local residents?

We recommend that you rent a parking space in the car park nearest to where you live.

 

I’m working near an AMAG car park for six weeks. Can I reserve a parking space for a set period, and are discounts available?

No, we cannot reserve parking spaces or offer any discounts on our daily rates. However, you can purchase a monthly season ticket for a set number of months or opt for Monday to Sunday parking for up to three months.

 

How and where can I order a prepaid card?

You can order a prepaid card and/or load credit onto it in person, by phone or via email at the following car parks:

-          Bleicherweg

-          Talgarten

-          Utoquai

You receive a 10% discount on your loaded credit. You can use the prepaid card at all of the above car parks.

 

We’re looking to centralise our company fleet. Do you offer special terms or volume discounts?

You can choose one of our individual monthly season tickets with or without EV charging and rent the number of parking spaces you require (subject to availability at the particular car park). You can also share the parking spaces with several other vehicles. Volume discounts are available once you rent a certain number of parking spaces. Please ask our Sales team about this. 



Where can I find EV charging stations for my vehicle?

Public charging stations for short-term parkers are available at all our car parks. These EV charging stations are only available during the active charging process and must be vacated once the charging process has ended. The charging capacity depends on the number of vehicles being charged and can therefore vary.

 

Do you offer long-term parking with EV charging?

More than 100 slow-charging stations were installed at our Utoquai, Kongress and Messe Zürich car parks in 2022. Local residents, businesses and commuters can park and charge for longer periods by purchasing a monthly season ticket for EVs. 




I’m looking to rent a parking space. How can I do this?

Select a car park to get all the information you need about our car parks and the various rental options. Complete the application form. One of our teams will then get back to you. If the rental option you select is not available, you can choose to go onto a waiting list or our staff will offer you a suitable alternative.

Do you offer long-term parking with EV charging?

Can I start or end my rental agreement in the middle of a month?

Yes, your rental agreement can start in the middle of a month if there are rental spaces available. Open-ended rental agreements continue to run until the end of the month you cancel in.

Fixed-term rental agreements can start and end in the middle of a month. The term needs to be specified in advance. The individual days are billed based on the monthly price.

Is the Night & Weekend season ticket also valid on public holidays, such as Ascension Day (Thursday)? What happens if I go on holiday?

Yes, public holidays are included in the monthly rate. You can also park in the car park at a preferential rate for up to 20 days per calendar year.

What should I do if I can’t drive into or out of the car park with my rental card / customer card?

Each entrance and exit barrier has an intercom system that enables you to contact our Service Desk staff, who will then assist you.

If I have a parking season ticket that allows me to park at certain times, can I also park at other times?

Yes – in this case, you will receive a monthly bill for these other times, based on the short-term parking rate.


How does parking space sharing work?

If you are a long-term renter, you can share your parking space with several other vehicles. However, you are never allowed to have more than one vehicle in the car park at a time.

 

I’m a long-term renter and want to park in the car park, but the car park is full. What should I do now?

As a long-term renter, you do not have a fixed parking space, but we do guarantee you a free space at all times – day or night. Even if the car park is full, long-term renters can still enter the car park.


How do I cancel my rented parking space?

The rental agreement can be cancelled in writing (letter or email) by either party, subject to the agreed notice period of at least one month before the end of a quarter (end of March, June, September or December).

Notice period for Rathaus Parking (City Hall) car park: the rental agreement can be cancelled subject to a notice period of three months before the end of a month.

 

How can I pay my monthly rent?

If you have an open-ended rental agreement, you receive a quarterly PDF invoice by email. You can also pay this invoice by monthly standing order. The rent must always be paid in advance.

If you have a fixed-term rental agreement, the rent is billed monthly.
