Bern
The Swiss capital Bern has preserved its historic features better than almost any other city. Bern’s Old Town area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and, with six kilometres of arcades, known locally as “Lauben”, the city boasts one of Europe’s largest covered shopping promenades.
